Creating a drone animation using MoGraphs and Fields in Cinema 4D
For this project, I was responsible for creating an animation featuring a group of drones turning on, ascending, and moving on a spline line. The modeling, lighting, and camera actions for the animation were done by the School of Motions. I wanted to create a seamless and dynamic animation without using any keyframes, so I turned to MoGraphs and Fields in Cinema 4D to help me achieve my vision.

To begin, I added Time Effectors to the Cloner to control the timing of when each drone would turn on.

Next, I used the Plane object and the MoSpline Deformer to create a spline path for the drones to follow.

Finally, I added a second Cloner object and used the MoSpline Deformer to animate the drones moving along the spline.

The result was a seamless and realistic drone animation that could be used in a variety of contexts, such as visual effects or motion graphics.
